Step1: Install the modem

Step2: Go to Run _ writ CMD _ writ ipconfig

To show your IP Address , subnet mask & default gateway

Step3: open internet explorer

1- Go to Tools _ internet options _ connections _ LAN setting

2- Proxy server Enter in Address: proxy.stars.net.sa & Port: 808 0

After that click advanced

3- In Exceptions add IP for default gateway: 192.168.1.1 & click ok

Step4 :

1- Go to Address writ 192.168.1.1 & press Enter to open setup Linksys

2- After that Enter User Name & password

User Name: Admin

Password: Admin

Step5: Go to Setup _ Basic Setup _ Encapsulations: RFC 2516 PPPoE Virtual Circuit / VPI : 0 & VCI : 35 _ Multiplexing : LLC

Step6: Go to PPPoE settings & Enter your full User Name &

password

Example : ivtest@64.stars.net.sa

Step7: Go to save settings

You will be returned to the previous page after 5 seconds .

Step8: Go to Status to press connect button

Step9: After click on connect look at internet LED in modem

Is it green or red .

If green it is connected

If red it is can't connected

Final step: if you want disable firewall

Go to Security _ Firewall _ Firewall Protection & chose

Disable & click save setting
