Configure EDiMAX Router

Before configuring EDiMAX Router:

1. Go to start -> Run write cmd then press OK.

2. Write the command ipconfig to see your ip Address & subnet mask &

Gateway.

(In command Window )

C:\Document and setting \administrator\ipconfig (and press Enter)

Windows IP configurations

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connections:

Ip address ……………..:10.0.0.12

Subnet Mask …………..:255.0.0.0

Default Gateway…………:10.0.0.2

3. After that check proxy

Go to Internet Explorer -> tool -> internet Options -> connections

-> LAN settings ->Advanced -> Exceptions

In Exceptions write your Default Gateway (10.0.0.2).

4.Go to Internet Explorer in Address write 10.0.0.2 and press Ente r

After that enter user name & password

User : admin

Password: epicrouter

After enter user name & password click ok.

To Enter to setup for EDiMax.

5. In modem setup go to configurations -> click in WAN .

6. After that select your Adapter :PVC0 and click submit.

7. Now Enter user name & password for your account in ppp index .

(enter user name like that: your user@256.stars.net.sa).

8. Check ATM List VPI : 0 & VCI :35& click submit.

9. After that Click save Configuration .

10. Click save & Reboot.

Now modem it is ready to connect.
